Year 12 student Nate Deer has been named SAAS Open A1 Basketballer of the Year after a dominant season in school basketball where he shot an incredible 71% from the field.
At his best, Nate was simply unstoppable inside, where his power game gave Trinity a decided advantage.
He will now turn his attention to making the U20 state team and having a breakout NBL1 season where he hopes to draw the attention of US College Scouts.
