Trinity Open A has finished the regular SAAS season undefeated after a strong 82-40 victory over an injury-depleted PAC team.
TC was simply too strong from the opening tip, creating an excellent mix of inside/out all game. Deng Manyang, Kuai Deng, Agok Panther and Charlie Forgione created strong targets inside, forcing the PAC defence to collapse and double team, after which Trinity capitalised with solid outside shooting, nailing 13 3-pointers for the match at a healthy clip.
Noah Villanueva, Makai Dornford, BJ Day and Michael Herjok all connected multiple times from behind the arc, Taj Wormald was active at both ends of the floor, and damaging in transition. and despite PAC’s changing defences, Trinity continued to build the lead throughout the game.
Trinity will host a home semi final next week on Seniors Day, where we recognise a particularly special group of year 12 students in our final home game of the year.
